Harvard Women in Physics hosted two hands-on activity stations for the MIT Museum's Girls' Day event today. Girls’ Day is not only for girls, but our goal is to celebrate women scientists, and show (and inspire) diversity in the sciences. Each Girls’ Day they choose a different STEM topic, and this year they explored the topic of physics and very kindly invited us to help support them!
To new first-years, physics concentrators, and graduate students: Welcome to Harvard Physics! And to students returning after a summer or just a few days away, welcome back!
We've sent out a survey asking which events you'd like to see this semester, and will post soon with the results! In the meantime, if you'd like to submit your ideas or preferences, contact us through the link in the header!
