Welcome to our site!
The Women in Physics organization at Harvard University is a community of undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral women who seek to support each other through mentoring, workshops, and community building events.
Our ultimate goal is to promote a sense of belonging for each person in our physics community. We understand that gender is never a complete picture of a person’s identity. To recognize and support the intersectional experience of the individuals in our community, we work closely with the Harvard physics Equity & Inclusion Committee, the LGBTQ+ physics community, and other FAS/SEAS groups created as spaces for various minority populations.
We are funded by the Harvard Physics Department and by the APS Women in Physics Group Grant.
