Our first book is Athena Unbound: The Advancement of Women in Science and Technology by Henry Etzkowitz, Carol Kemelgor, and Brian Uzzi. You can access a pdf version of the book for free here. There are also a few copies available through the Harvard library system if you prefer a physical book.

Athena Unbound addresses the scarcity of women in science. It presents research on the pervasive difficulties female scientists face at every stage of their careers. Our discussion will follow the interests of those present.
